Winter is very much here, would be great to sip in some chicken soup.Let’s make a chicken clear soup. This is a simple and quick to make soup. This is the first and most awaited Sunday special.

Ingredients
Chicken – 300 grams
Turmeric powder – 1/8th tsp
Curry leaves – 15 leaves
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 6 cloves
Pepper – 2 tsp

 
Method

In a pressure cooker, add in the washed chicken pieces with 3 cups of water. Add in a pinch of salt and allow it to pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles.

In a Kadai heat some oil and add in the cumin seeds, curry leaves and crushed garlic cloves give it a stir. Now add a pinch of turmeric powder and then add in the pepper.

Now add the chicken stock from the pressure cooker. Add salt to taste and add few pieces of chicken.

Serve hot and enjoy the goodness of this healthy and delicious yet quick and easy to make chicken soup / rasam!
