Ragi / finger millet ladoo is a very healthy and easy snack which can be prepared in minutes and can be stored for a week. We can also carry them as a travel food for kids and also elders.

Ingredients 
Ragi flour – 300 grams
Palm candy – 150 grams
Ghee – 75 grams

 
Method 

Take the Palm candy in a mixer, grind them to fine powder and keep them aside. In a Kadai take the Ragi flour and dry roast for 10 mins, until nice aroma comes out. Now add the Palm candy powder and mix well. Keep mixing for another 2 mins to make sure they are evenly mixed. 

Now add the ghee and mix well, keep mixing until the ghee is also spread everywhere. Allow it to cool and try making balls out of them. If it is difficult to make balls add some more ghee to make sure the right consistency is reached to make balls.

Also the sweetness can be altered according to the taste of the individual. I generally like medium sweet. 

For small kids having this dry ladoo might not be easy. Take two balls in a small bowl, pour 4 tbsp of hot water and give it a good stir. We can alter the consistency according to the age of the kid or how they find it easy to have. 

The ladoo can be stored in container for about a week.
