Raw banana is a good source of fiber, minerals and vitamins. The starch in raw banana is called resistant starch which is not broken down in the digestive system, thereby it acts as fiber and not starch. Raw banana contains vitamin b6, and is high in potassium.

Raw banana – 1
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp

Cut the raw banana into bite size pieces and keep them in water. Heat oil in a pan and add the raw banana. Toss them and cook them for about 3 mins, add salt and allow it to cook for a while. Toss them from time to time until they become crispy and slightly brown on the outside. Finally add pepper and the vegetable is ready. This can be had with sambar, rasam and other rice varieties.
