Cabbage is a leafy vegetable which is a high source of vitamin C. Cabbage contains Fiber and rich in sulphur which helps fight infections in wounds. Cabbage helps in weight loss in a natural way. It is a very good detoxifier and cleanses the blood. Cabbage is had raw or cooked.

Ingredients
Cabbage – 1 cup
Curry leaves – 5
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Salt
Coconut – 7 (1 inch pieces)
Green Chilli – 2
Coconut oil
Method

Chop the cabbage roughly and whip them in batches in a mixer. This gets done quicker than grating them.

Heat some oil in pan, add mustard seeds, once they splutter add the curry leaves.

To the pan add the cabbage and sprinkle some water and allow it to cook by adding salt. Grind coconut, jeera and green chillies and mix with the cabbage. Allow it to cook for another 5 mins, cabbage thoran is ready!
