This is a very simple and quick dal recipe.
Dal – 1 cup
Garlic – 10 cloves
Pepper – 1 tsp
Cook dal in pressure cooker. Heat oil in pan add the mustard seeds once they splutter add in chopped garlic. Sauté the garlic for 2 mins then add the cooked dal and allow it to come to a boil. Now add salt and pepper and simmer for 5 mins.
Garlic pepper dal can be enjoyed with steamed rice and some vegetable.
