Paniyaram is kids favourite for their tiny cute look and easy to have like a finger food. This is a variation of the paniyaram with some carrot juice. If kids are not used to the tiny bits of ingredients in the paniyaram like onion or carrot in the grated form. This way of giving gets in some benefits of carrot with a pretty colour on them which kids will love!

Ingredients
Idli / dosa batter – 3 cups
Carrot juice – 3/4 cup
Method

Mix the idly / dosa batter with the carrot juice. Heat the paniyaram pan and pour oil or ghee into the moulds. Now pour in the batter to 3/4 of the mould so turning the paniyaram a when cooked will be easy. Cover the pan and cook for 3 mins now turn them to the other side and cook for another 3 mins.

The carrot paniyaram is ready to have, this can be had with coconut chutney. This can be prepared as an after school snack or an evening snack for kids. It is obviously a healthy alternative than the packed snacks!
