Jeera/ cumin seed is an aromatic Indian spice which is used in Everyday cooking either whole or in the powder form. Cumin seeds not only gives a good flavour for the recipe but also has numerous health benefits.  Onions are low in calorie and high in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Ghee is made by melting the butter and it carries the nutrients  and lubricates the intestinal track and other tissues in the body. When there is indigestion or any stomach related issues this recipe is an excellent home remedy. 

Ingredients
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Jeera – 1/2 tsp
Ghee (clarified butter) – 1 tbsp
Small onion – 5 nos thinly sliced
Salt
Pepper (if required) – 1 pinch

 
Method

In a Kadai heat ghee, add jeera, small onion and sauté for 3 mins. Add cooked rice and mix well with some salt and pepper.
